The school was established in the year 1987 naming ‘Kisholoy Kindergarten’. Initially, it was established for facilitating the English medium education for the children of officers of the School of Infantry and Tactics (SI&T). In the year 2009, the school was renamed as Jalalabad Cantonment English School and turned into a full-fledged preparatory school with classes up to standard-V. In 2012 the school started functioning as a Junior Secondary School. The school opened the secondary level by 2016. In 2019 school has opened the college section and named Jalalabad Cantonment English School and college.
